You can see and touch the physical structures that enable your senses, thus indirectly experiencing the senses themselves. For instance, you can look at your eyes in a mirror, thus seeing the organ responsible for vision. You can touch your eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin, directly interacting with the organs that allow you to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel. Medical imaging techniques like MRI and CT scans also let you see internal sensory structures, like the brain regions involved in processing sensory information. Therefore, while you can’t see or touch the abstract experiences of sensing, you can certainly see and touch the tangible organs and structures that make these experiences possible.
